Hana Microfinance Staff Participate in Traditional Kahtain Offering Ceremony

In line with Myanmar’s cherished customs, Hana Microfinance staff members took part in a collective Kahtain offering ceremony on 13 November 2024 at Atula Gonyi Monastery in Aung Chan Thar Ward, Thanlyin City. This meaningful event was held during the month of Tazaungmone, a traditional time for merit-making and community offerings.

Team members from both the Head Office and Theinphyu Branch came together to make a monetary contribution in support of the event. In addition, staff offered essential items for the monks, including medicine, hand fans, umbrellas, and other monastic requisites. The ceremony concluded with a sermon after the merit-sharing rituals.

This occasion reflects Hana Microfinance’s commitment to supporting local traditions and underscores our dedication to community values. Through participating in the Kahtain offering, our team members demonstrated the spirit of unity and compassion that aligns with the company’s core values.
