Mr. Lee Eun Hyung, Vice Chairman of Hana Financial Group, along with Executive Vice President Mr. Hwang Hyo Goo, extended their visit to Myanmar and graciously donated stationery and accessories to schools in Sittwe Township which were impacted by Cyclone Mocha. The donation was facilitated through Ar Yone Oo Social Development Association, as part of the Hana Financial Group’s “Global Happy Sharing” program.
In response to the devastating effects of Cyclone Mocha on May 14th, Vice Chairman generously donated essential supplies to support the affected schools. The donation, comprising stationery, raincoats, and water bottles, was distributed to 500 students from four villages in Sittwe Township, with each item provided in quantities of 500.
During their visit to Myanmar, the Vice Chairman and the Executive Vice President of Hana Financial Group embarked on a comprehensive itinerary, which included a visit to Hana Microfinance’s Head Office. They cordially interacted with employees, actively participated in the presentations by the Executive Committee, toured Thein Phyu Branch Office, attended an inclusive Townhall Meeting with all Hana employees, handed over donation items to U Cin Khan Lian, Director of Ar Yone Oo Social Development Association, and engaged in a memorable photo session with all staff.
