Data Analyst (Dashboard)
Duties & Responsibilities
- Create user-friendly and actionable dashboards and interactive visual reports using Power BI, Excel, and other visualization tools for daily usage.
- Identify relevant data sources and use data tools to extract data and create business intelligence reports as per business needs.
- Review and troubleshoot issues related to dashboards and business intelligence reports.
- Provide training to on the ground end users on dashboard usage and reading visualizations.
- Processing, cleansing and verifying of data, organizing data into usable formats, and interpreting complex datasets to capture trends and patterns for different analytics.
- Support enabling managers, stakeholders, and other executives in the business to make more informed data-based decision making.
- Assist in designing and maintaining data systems and databases including data-related problems fixing.
- Maintain good knowledge of data storage and database management best practices.
- Define opportunities for process improvements and recommend efficient data system.
- Research new ways to make use of data.
- Make proper documentation and secure keeping.
- Process confidential data and information according to guidelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to help develop data-driven business strategies and decision-making.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Proven experience in dashboard developments, KPI scorecards creation and business intelligence analysis.
- Strong skill in using BI tools, especially Power BI and Excel.
- Ability to write DAX measures and design data models to transform raw data into meaningful insights based on business requirements.
- Demonstrated capability of writing optimized SQL queries Knowledge or experience with programming languages such as Python and R will be a plus.
- Experience with Cloud services: AWS, Azure or GCP will be an added advantage.
- Good analytical skills, able to analyze data, identify trends and reporting results.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to quickly acquire business/domain knowledge.
- Capable of working across multiple functional groups and fostering an understanding of changes impacting an existing process area.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Problem-solving aptitude.
- Flexible, independent, and self-motivated to work in an agile environment.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in economics, information management, statistics, engineering, mathematics, accounting, computer science or any graduates with equivalent experience.
