On June 10, 2024, Ma Aye Aye Phyu and Ma Yuzana Aung from the Legal and Compliance Team visited the Einme Branch in the Ayeyarwady Region. Subsequently, on June 12 and June 14, they conducted Know Your Employee (KYE) visits at the Yekyi branch office.
During these visits, employees across different branches received comprehensive briefings on Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Countering the Financing of Terrorism (CFT), Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD), Suspicious Transaction Reports (STR), and other relevant legal guidelines. They were also informed about company policies and procedures issued by various departments.
In cases where clarification was needed, explanations were provided, and employees at the branch offices discussed potential fraud risks, abuses, and operational challenges they were encountering. Information gathered during these interactions was compiled into a detailed report, which will be submitted to the Executive Committee in collaboration with relevant departments.
Adherence to company policies and procedures is crucial for maintaining operational integrity, and employees are reminded of their responsibility to comply with these guidelines.
